How to set up access code protection for your single property websites

Password protected single property websites

We are excited to announce a new feature added to RealBird last week that allows you to protect access to your draft listing marketing assets. This includes draft single property websites, virtual tours, listing landing pages, open house sign-in forms, and more.

Why Password Protection?

You might wonder why you would need password protection for your property websites when the goal is to attract as many visitors as possible. One of the unique and powerful features of RealBird is the ability to set up all of your listing marketing assets before your listing interviews and before securing a signed contract. In such cases, you often prefer these assets to be visible only to your prospective sellers, not the general public. With this new feature, you can easily assign a password, ensuring only those with access to this code can view the marketing materials.

How to Get Started

  • Sign in to your RealBird dashboard
  • Add or edit a draft listing
  • At the bottom of the form, find the new section called “Private Listing (Edit Access Code).”
  • Enter an access code. Do not reuse passwords that you use for sensitive data like your email or financials.
  • Save the listing as Draft. Please note that published listings cannot currently be protected with an access code; this new feature applies only to draft listings.
