Over the past 2 weeks we’ve received several support requests from users wondering why their postings to Craigslist look different from what they previewed in the RealBird posting tool, so we thought a quick update is in order: For reasons still un-announced, Craigslist started restricting the use of certain HTML tags and external links in certain market areas. As far as we know, this restriction applies now in Texas, New York, Massachusetts and Florida.
If you are in a different area and are also experiencing such a problem with your postings please send us an email so we know.
We have now added a “Basic, no photos” option in the options selection area. This option creates a simple posting format code that you copy-paste to the Craigslist posting field, and then you will need to upload the photos manually – this should work with no problems if the “Modern” or “Classic” style options do not work for you.
