Another Wednesday, another product update: a long overdue and very important set of fields have been added to your rental listing editor on RealBird. You can now specify the security deposit amount and also describe the total amount due upon signing of the lease in a freeform description, such as first and last month’s rent, security deposit, pet fee, etc. You may also specify which appliances are included in your rental, such as an in-unit washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc.
These fields are now shown not only on your RealBird rental listing websites but are also sent to our partners through our rental listing syndication service. This results in better placement and better visibility on Zillow and other sites, and also helps tenants search by these fields, reducing the number of unqualified leads (for example people interested only in rentals with in-unit laundry, which your unit may not have).
