Cooperative Compensation for Buyer and Tenant Agents

Cooperative Compensation For Buyer and Tenant Agents 300x300

On August 17, the NAR settlement took effect, and buyer agent commission details – more generically referred to as cooperative compensation – can no longer be shared through the MLS.

Since early April, we’ve offered a valuable tool that allows you to create a minisite for your listings, showcasing the cooperative compensation your seller is offering.

With our latest release you can now also include cooperative compensation details for your rental listings on RealBird.

We’ve updated the minisite’s heading from “Buyer Agent Commission Details” to “Cooperative Compensation Details.” This change reflects the broader application of the term, which now includes agents representing tenants, not just home buyers.

Here’s how it works: When publishing a listing on RealBird, you can optionally add cooperative compensation details for both resale and rental properties. You can choose to either create a private minisite with access code protection or make this information public on your RealBird single property websites.

Remember, don’t share these private links in MLS remarks. Instead, publish them on your RealBird property sites or share the private minisite link via email or social media.
